Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for meeting assigned sales targets for repairs, retrofits, hoists, light lifting equipment (including monorails, jib cranes, air balancers, below-the-hook devices, etc.), spare parts, in-house repairs, general overhauls, consultation services and operative quoting. Responsible for sales cases and/or account actions as needed to support activities generated or identified by inside sales, particularly for priority and protect and develop assigned accounts. Refer opportunities for other products to other sales resources by creating sales cases.

Job Description

Responsible for sales cases and/or account actions as needed to support activities generated or identified by inside sales, particularly for priority and protect and develop assigned accounts. Refer opportunities for other products to other sales resources by creating sales cases.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
Functional Role
- Plan for a periodic and organized visits to prospective customers and report on the visits concluded
- Primary focus to offer sale of repairs, retrofits, spare parts, in-house repairs, general overhauls and consultation services.
- Receives operative quoting sales case, review findings and recommendations, and submit offer for the faults generated by the field operative.
- Receives sales case from Inside Sales and/or create sales case from various lead sources.
- Regularly monitor performance in CRM to manage sales funnel.
- Regular review and timely update of sales case’s customer decision date and next customer communication date.
- Conduct service review with customers timely and/or within 48 hours
- Meet (in person or by TEAMS) at least once each week with your manager or supervisor for weekly coaching to review your personal sales funnel. Together you will follow-up on the previously agreed sales actions, review the outcomes of those actions, and plan for the next week. Reviewing your top opportunities and hot offers is the priority.
- Close on basic safety related repairs that cannot be sold inside
- Provide technical expertise to assist the Operations team in complex service jobs
- Assist the management in cost control of various expenses to be able achieve the targeted profit margin
- Any other duties as directed
- Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards
- Authority
- As authorized in the Konecranes Delegation of Authority (DoA)
- As delegated by the National Sales Manager from time to time
- Order Received: Targets discussed during the annual service kick-off meeting
- Gross Margin: Targets discussed during the annual service kick-off meeting
- Service KPIs: Targets discussed during the annual service kick-off meeting
Academic Qualifications
- Engineering graduate/Diploma Holder or equivalent length of industry exposure
- At least 2 years hands-on exposure to electromechanical components, ac/dc motors & power inverters
- At least 2 years in supervisory experience or equivalent exposure
- At least 3 years in similar capacity in the Service Industry
