EyeCarePro is a leading provider of online services to the optometry industry, dedicated to enhancing the digital presence of eyecare professionals. We are searching for a talented SEO & Website Administrator to join our growing global team. This role will play a vital part in optimizing and maintaining our client websites while ensuring a positive user experience.

Position Overview: As an SEO & Website Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, security, and maintenance of EyeCarePro client websites. You will work closely with Project Managers, User Engagement Strategists, and the IT team to implement SEO strategies and enhance the overall performance and security of our websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Expertise: Continuously improve the website health-check audit process for assigned clients, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Content Management: Regularly update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements. Create new pages as needed to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • SEO Optimization: Implement effective SEO strategies to improve search engine visibility and drive organic traffic to client websites.
  • Security Champion: Implement security protocols and updates to protect client websites against cyber threats, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • User Access Management: Manage user access permissions, troubleshoot login/authentication issues, and ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Disaster Recovery: Conduct regular backups of website data and implement disaster recovery plans to safeguard client information.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate server-level issues with IT support and collaborate with the CSU team and User Engagement Strategists to optimize SEO, site performance, and overall user experience.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative website solutions and strategies for EyeCarePro clients.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree in a related field (Web Design, Web Development, Graphic Design, WordPress Development, Digital Marketing) or 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • WordPress Proficiency: Strong experience managing and maintaining client websites on WordPress, including content updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operation.
  • Content Management Mastery: Experience in regularly updating website content and creating new pages as necessary.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery Knowledge: Understanding of conducting regular backups of website data and implementing disaster recovery plans.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using website analytics tools like Google Analytics to analyze website performance and user behavior.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work seamlessly with team members and stakeholders.

  • CMS Versatility: Experience with additional Content Management Systems (CMS) like Drupal or Joomla.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Graphic Design Skills: Basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva to create and edit images for website content and marketing materials.
