Job Purpose:

  • Provide operational support, driving optimization, and excellence in country operations to achieve the lowest costs.
  • Safely stow assigned vessels while maximizing utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in operations, execution standards, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

Port & Vessel Operations:

  • Act as the primary contact for vessel operations, ensuring all permits are arranged for smooth arrivals and quick turnarounds.
  • Manage berth planning and coordinate with terminals for optimal vessel docking.

Stowage Planning:

  • Ensure efficient and safe stowage planning that maximizes cargo volume and minimizes costs.
  • Collaborate with Capacity Management to prioritize cargo and optimize vessel utilization.

Operational Performance & Process Improvement:

  • Implement guidelines and track performance metrics to enhance port, vessel, and cargo operations.
  • Support technical improvements and automation to boost efficiency.

Cost-Conscious Execution:

  • Maintain stowage records and identify cost-saving opportunities in line with SOPs.
  • Work with Finance to review cost trends and implement savings initiatives.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Recommend operational improvements by managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keep management informed of market trends and provide timely updates on challenges.

Team & Personal Development:

  • Stay updated on relevant training and promote efficiency within the team.
  • Engage in personal development to contribute to team success and uphold company values.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experience in shipping and logistics operations with Maritme background would be ideal
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino.
  • A self-starter with a pragmatic execution mindset, able to influence stakeholders across different levels.
  • A compelling personality with a sense of urgency, results-oriented, and attention to detail.
  • Someone who embodies and lives in accordance with the Company’s values and vision.
