Your Role

Job Description

As a Senior Tax Manager at Red Rock Accounting, you will be crucial in leading our Manila team. Your role will encompass the review and oversight of comprehensive tax returns for individual and business clients, including complex partnership returns with multi-state operations.

• Manage and lead tax engagements for corporate, partnership, and individual clients.
• Review and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, including multi-state partnership returns.
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide practical solutions and recommendations.
• Assist with tax planning strategies, including entity structure, transactions, and compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations, legislation, and industry trends.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise team members, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Communicate complex tax matters clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and quality of deliverables.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, EA, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
• Experience:
• Significant experience in tax preparation and review, including corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Prior supervisory or management experience in public accounting or professional services.
• Familiarity with multi-state tax compliance and complex business entities.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team interactions.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Professional demeanor and client service orientation.
• Other Requirements: Commitment to staying current with tax regulations, legislation, and industry trends.
