Your Role:

• Lead and conduct structured audits of pull requests in GitHub and testing practices across teams to ensure alignment with internal quality standards for Unit, API and UI tests.
• Evaluate pull requests with a focus on delivering constructive feedback that helps teams enhance test coverage, improve code quality and strengthen automation practices.
• Assess pull requests against established benchmarks and contribute to team compliance scoring by documenting results, updating tracking systems and capturing detailed notes for transparency and follow-up.
• Collaborate with the Audit team to evolve internal standards, share key insights from audit findings and ensure timely follow-up on identified actions.
• Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track audit outcomes, PR ratings and team compliance metrics.
• Support the creation and optimization of automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to the development and integration of test automation frameworks across Unit, API and UI layers.
• Assist in the selection, maintenance, and scaling of test infrastructure and performance testing solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship to other SDETs and developers on best practices in testing and compliance.

What You Need:

• 5+ years as a Software Developer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
• 3+ years of experience auditing pull requests for Unit, API and UI, ensuring alignment with internal standards and contributing to team-wide quality.
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub CI and GitHub Actions for implementing automated testing workflows.
• Proficient in Playwright, Cucumber, JUnit, Jest, RestAssured, SuperTest and/or similar tools.
• Fair understanding of PHP unit testing frameworks.
• Strong experience in contract testing and virtualization, with the ability to mock and isolate downstream dependencies in unit and integration tests.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript and/or similar languages.
• Guide innovation in test automation and reporting frameworks.
• Experience communicating and providing feedback on PRs audited.
• Experience with performance testing tools with the ability to validate system reliability
• Experience building/implementing scalable and efficient testing solutions.
• Experience influencing, contributing and collaborating across teams.
• Experience with Agile shift-left methodologies and development.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide direct, constructive feedback even if it feels uncomfortable.
