Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Senior HR Recruitment Supervisor at EF Education First- Efekta Teaching Center in Metro Cebu, Philippines. The Senior HR Recruitment Supervisor is a highly experienced and result-oriented team leader with 2-3 years in a supervisory role, and 3 to 5 years of proven track record in end-to-end recruitment and on-boarding processes in a fast-paced setting. He or she must possess excellent English proficiency and overall communication skills, exemplary people skills, and demonstrated experience in community partnerships and employer branding campaigns preferably in Metro Cebu.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • End-to-end recruitment: Create and implement recruitment plans and other talent acquisition initiatives, working closely with the Center Director (CD) and organization-wide stakeholders.
  • Sourcing, Job Postings, and Branding: Oversee active recruitment accounts and job sites, posting and managing job ads, and optimizing valid lead sources. Design and implement year-round employer branding campaign activities and foster partnerships with universities, private sectors, and government agencies.
  • Cross-departmental Communication: Apply exemplary collaboration and communication skills by liaising with the CD, central recruitment team, hiring managers, and/or department heads to align regarding recruitment and production requirements, hiring completion rates, and KPIs.
  • Recruitment Data Management and Reports: Ensure that the recruitment pipeline database is updated, and daily/weekly/monthly recruitment deliverables and reports are completed in a timely manner. Manage Salesforce to collect and screen leads, contact and engage candidates, and track conversion rates at every recruitment milestone.
  • Pre-employment Requirements and On-boarding Processes: Coordinate with HR Compensation and Benefits /Payroll team and/or the Academic and Operations Department leaders to ensure positive new-hire journey experience and smooth transition from offer to induction and production stages.
  • Leading and growing a team: Manage and mentor a team of recruitment coordinators and/or specialists as the center grows.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition with an emphasis on sourcing valid leads in a fast-paced environment
  • 2-3 years team management and HR supervisory background
  • University / college graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a Major in Psychology/ Communication, or relevant courses
  • C2-level English proficiency, preferably with supporting certification, and fluent in oral and written Cebuano (Bisaya dialect)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Employee relations expertise and keen customer service orientation
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Willing to work onsite (in Cebu IT Park) and can conveniently commute to and from the office location
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and highest levels of professionalism and integrity
  • Proven track record working with a Talent Management System and/or Salesforce
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including familiarity with Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint, and/or Google Workspace (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Slides, etc.)

Preferred But Not Required

  • EdTech industry experience and/or BPO recruitment background
  • A track record of screening, hiring, and on-boarding ESL teachers (in-person or online setting)
  • ESL teaching and/or ESL teacher support experience
  • Experience with contract issues and/or HR compensation and benefits responsibilities.
  • Experience with launching new offices and start-up teams
  • Knowledgeable in using Canva or similar apps.
