As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment and placement of temporary and contract workers across various industries in Australia. Your role will involve sourcing, screening, and placing candidates in roles that match client needs, with a focus on high-volume recruitment. This position requires strong organisational skills, a deep understanding of labour markets, and the ability to build relationships with both clients and candidates.

What’s In It For You

  • Regular team engagement activities like birthday and work anniversary celebrations, monthly events, and wellness check-ins.
  • Annual team building trips– we’ve recently been to Palawan and Boracay, and we're already excited for the next one!
  • Full benefits package including government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), HMO coverage for you and your dependent, 25 leave credits (with cash conversion option), and pro-rated 13th month pay with non-taxable allowance included.

What You'll Do

  • Create and post job ads based on the information obtained from the client.
  • Screen applicants from various job boards to assess suitability for roles in a timely manner.
  • Call short-listed applicants and conduct initial screenings using specific questions to determine their suitability.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews with applicants across multiple locations, including Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
  • Review candidates' VISA status, licenses to operate machinery, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure all candidates meet the necessary legal and compliance requirements, including reviewing their eligibility to work in Australia and confirming their qualifications.
  • Assess applicant skills and health suitability through a questionnaire/assessment.
  • Perform thorough employment reference checks on applicants to verify their suitability for the position.
  • Provide an update on the recruitment status of active roles to the team during morning meetings.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, particularly on Fridays, to see their requirements for the following week or coming weeks.
  • Update the recruitment database regularly to ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Update daily and weekly rosters according to client requirements.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process under your assigned clients, from sourcing candidates to placing them in roles and client & candidate feedback.
  • Ensure open jobs are filled with suitable candidates efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan daily and weekly tasks, ensuring alignment with client needs and recruitment goals.
  • Source new leads to expand client base.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and they are satisfied with the service provided.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, focusing on delivering high-quality candidates that meet client expectations.
  • Other ad hoc recruitment and business development-related duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • You have at least 3 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on temporary, contract staffing, or volume hiring within the Australian market, which is highly preferred.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.
  • You genuinely love engaging with a variety of people, both in person and over the phone.
  • You have the willingness to put in hard work, knowing that it pays off in spades.
  • You can work independently, with excellent priority-setting and time-management skills.
  • You possess a strong desire to help others, assisting them in finding their dream roles while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • You have a proven track record in recruitment or sales, with a natural talent for building and maintaining strong client partnerships.
  • You are driven to exceed targets and deliver outstanding results, bringing fresh perspectives to our team while adapting to change.
