This position is responsible for providing cross-functional support to the various Legal and Compliance team pillars, with particular focus on [assigned pillar].
He/she shall provide supervisory, technical, and administrative support, such as monitoring the generation and preparation of legal documentation (e.g. opinions, reports, forms, certifications, secretary’s certificates, and contracts), workloads, and assignments, and development of paralegals, and assisting the various pillars in other related matters and special projects as may be required from time to time. The position is also responsible for the development and implementation of document control processes, records management, and maintenance of related systems.
As needed, the Paralegal Supervisor/Sr. Paralegal shall also assist in the performance of stock transfer support, corporate secretarial, housekeeping, and board secretariat functions for assigned AboitizPower business units (BUs). He/she shall assist the corporate secretarial team in ensuring that the BUs’ corporate records are complete, updated, and accessible and that day-to-day corporate housekeeping matters are attended to within the service level agreements (SLAs). He/she also ensures that the BUs assigned to him/her, in general, are aligned with Aboitiz Group practices and policies in order to ensure minimal regulatory non-compliances.
