Senior Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network and Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure and security solutions. This role requires expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity, and risk mitigation to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our IT environment.

Depending upon your level of expertise and experience, your responsibilities may include:

• Network Security & Infrastructure: Design, configure, and maintain secure network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, and firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Implement and manage security policies, protocols, and tools to protect against cyber threats.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Oversee network performance, conduct proactive troubleshooting, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Threat & Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to enhance security posture.
• Security Technologies: Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, encryption technologies, and SIEM solutions.
• Cloud & Zero Trust Security: Implement and oversee cloud and on-premises security solutions, including IAM and Zero Trust architectures.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training to junior engineers.
• Incident Response & Investigation: Lead incident response efforts, investigate security breaches, and implement corrective actions.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in network security and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet), SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other security technologies.
• CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
