Senior Human Resources Specialist (On-Site)

Main purpose of the Senior Human Resources Specialist role:

This position will play a pivotal role in leading the onsite HR related processes which can include employee relations, performance monitoring, training and development, compensation and benefits, and talent acquisition for the Philippine office and the headquarters (US) office. This role will also be supporting the day-to-day functions for the Philippine and US office which can include system troubleshooting, and other administrative related tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages
• Responsible for full cycle recruitment in the Philippine office including onboarding and offboarding of employees
• Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly and effectively
• Stayup-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
• Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
• Implement training and development plans
• Performance management i.e. plan and create quarterly and annual performance review processes
• Coordinating payroll related matters with employees
• Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
• Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
• Monitor budgets by department
• Administer health and life insurance programs
• Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements and Skills:

• 5-10+years proven work experience as a Senior HR Specialist or Senior HR Generalist
• Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) in a global platform is a plus
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
• Solid understanding of labor legislation
• Solid experience/background in employee relations, statutory compliances and payroll process
• Strong familiarity with full cycle recruiting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Strong leadership and management skills
• BSc/MSc in Human Resources or relevant field
• CHRP/SHRM is a plus
