Senior Health and Benefits Consultant - Bristol

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits team at Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB). This role will be based in Bristol and is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant You Will

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of Healthcare and Protection clients, by providing quality consulting advice and ongoing service
  • Ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable and to expand business lines and service delivery where appropriate
  • Manage and develop strong client relationships and win new business
  • Work pro-actively with internal teams to deliver client expectations in line with agreed client account plans

We Will Count On You To

  • Identify business opportunities from client portfolio and your own network
  • Provide a service compliant with all procedures and Mercer Code of Professional Conduct and the FCA
  • Participate in appropriate internal forums
  • Maintain required industry and technical knowledge
  • Work with support team assigned to ensure the delivery of services to each client in line with Mercer standards
  • Manage client projects to successful conclusion

What You Need To Have

  • In depth Healthcare and Group Risk knowledge is essential
  • Financial and Commercial acumen (including fee negotiation skills)
  • Consulting and relationship management skills
  • Technical, product and process knowledge
  • Inter-personal, communication and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
