Position: Senior Full-stack Developer

Work hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Sydney, Australia time

Compensation range: AU$4,500-5,000/month

About The Role

We are looking for two experienced Senior Full-Stack Developers to join our clients growing remote team. You'll be joining a lean, high-impact tech team focused on delivering innovative e-commerce and point-of-sale solutions. This role has a strong front-end focus (60–70%) with involvement in building scalable back-end services using AWS serverless architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end features using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
• Contribute to back-end development using Node.js, AWS Lambda, and other serverless technologies
• Work on API integrations (moving from GraphQL to REST) and support transitions from DynamoDB to SQL
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and design teams to deliver high-quality e-commerce and POS applications
• Participate in regular code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions
• Ensure your code is well-tested, performant, and scalable
• Proactively raise ideas and challenge solutions where appropriate
• Independently manage your tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
  
  

Requirements:

• 5–6 years of full-stack development experience, ideally in a retail or e-commerce environment
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and building SPAs
• Experience working with Node.js, SQL databases, and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with AWS serverless tools like Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB
• Comfortable working with Shopify or Commerce Tools (a plus)
• Experience in Shopify is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to independently QA your work
• Collaborative mindset and ability to give and receive feedback constructively
• Willing to ask questions and seek clarity when needed
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively across time zones
• Bonus: Experience with WebSockets and custom middleware solutions
