As Senior Director for Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability (PACS), you will be responsible for the PACS team covering the Philippines, working closely with our leadership team in the region and colleagues in both the company and our bottling partners to help bring our purpose to life.
You will engage with government, industry and other stakeholders to advance the positions of the company and highlight the work we do in sustainability and our communities. Partnering our communications team, you will also tell our stories to stakeholders, consumers and throughout our internal and external networks.
Most importantly, you will work with an amazing group of people in The Coca-Cola Company and our bottling partners in your region and around the world, joining them in refreshing the world, and making a difference.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate with internal and external teams (e.g. bottlers, trade and industry associations, public affairs, and communications agencies) to develop and execute the Philippines’ public affairs, communications & sustainability (PACS) strategy and stakeholder engagement plan.
- Develop and implement the Philippines’ communications strategy to support business and corporate goals.
- Lead a team to advocate for legislation and regulations to support our business and industry needs in the Philippines.
- Actively monitor, develop strategies and execute advocacy plans for policies and regulations impacting food & beverage, taxation, labelling, marketing, waste management, energy, environment, and sustainability.
- Enhance our corporate reputation through strategic stakeholder and media engagements, community affairs and sustainability activities.
- Cultivate and manage key stakeholder relationships, including government, industry & trade associations, think tanks, non-profit organizations and media.
- Manage the Incident and Crisis Management process for the Philippines in close collaboration with the bottler and Technical and Supply Chain teams.
- Oversee and manage routines, reporting, and performance metrics for the Philippines’ PACS plans, budget, and business success metrics.
- Lead a high-performing team with a collaborative and enterprise mindset, modelling our leadership behaviours.
- Develop and coach the next generation of leaders:
- Promote a strong two-way feedback culture; one built on trust, transparency, and accountability.
- Foster resilience, giving the team tools and techniques to deal with obstacles.
- Develop a pipeline of talent not only in succession for this role, but other cross-functional leadership positions.
- Drive a business acumen & knowledge agenda to ensure tangible impact and connection with the local market and bottler.
- Flatten the structure; promote all levels of the team to communicate, contribute and lead, regardless of title or position.
- Bachelor’s degree required, and advanced degree in a relevant disciple (e.g. public affairs, communications, public policy and/or sustainability) would be preferred.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in the public and/or private sector.
- Experience in a matrix organization with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams, and in developing and implementing national and regional stakeholder plans, fostering stakeholder networks, and strengthening relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively to drive tangible business outcomes.
- Capable of managing challenging regulatory scenarios and business crises calmly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to manage divergent local stakeholders and synthesize multiple concepts to define and execute long-term public affairs, communications and sustainability strategies and work plans.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
