Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm (this may be overruled with planned migrations when required)
As a key team member, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective execution of cloud-related projects assigned to you. This role involves managing project timeframes, scoping, and client engagement, ensuring successful project delivery while meeting client needs and expectations. You will also be conscious about project hours and delivery of works within budget and timeframe.
About the Job:
Working as part of the projects team, you will be actively involved in IT systems management and project delivery for clients. You will handle technical solutions to ensure they align with industry standards and client specifications. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing project timelines and ensuring timely delivery.
- Simplifying complex technical terms for clients, ensuring understanding of the solutions provided.
- Ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Design and implementation expertise in Cloud technologies
- Collaborating across departments to ensure cohesive project implementation.
- Mitigating risks associated with projects and technical solutions.
- Staying abreast of technological trends and integrating them into project solutions.
- Maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
The role is pivotal in balancing technical precision with effective communication in a compact team environment.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Due to the nature of the Business, flexibility in tasks is expected, where support and consultation will be provided and engaged in.
Your principal responsibilities and duties include:
- Ensure your timesheets are accurate and submitted on time, with the correct time codes used.
- Identify potential technical risks in projects and develop strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring that the project stays on track and within the defined scope.
Client Management:
- Interact with customers from project initiation through delivery and completion.
- Guarantee client satisfaction by delivering projects that align with vision documents and designs, ensuring value realization.
- Act as the technical liaison between the client and the company, effectively translating complex technical jargon into comprehensible information for clients.
Technical and Project Management:
- Plan, organize, and oversee the successful completion of specific projects within the company. This includes scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking progress against milestones.
- Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to offer optimal solutions to clients.
- Keep industry certifications current, including regular updates to Microsoft Certifications.
- Aid the team in troubleshooting and overcoming technical challenges and obstacles in projects.
- Assist in the implementation of IT solutions and enhancements to infrastructure.
- Showcase deep understanding and mastery of our internal Tool Stack.
- Possess experience in solution design and scoping.
Technical Deliverables:
- Ensure all technical solutions are implemented correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with internal processes, best practices, and client requirements.
- Take ownership of the projects assigned to you, effectively managing response and completion times while maintaining high quality.
- Assist with escalations and major incidents, collaborating with the team to resolve client issues promptly.
- Offer first-level technical escalation support and oversee project queues.
- Address, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user technical concerns promptly, managing ticket prioritization and communication throughout the resolution process.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Accurately record all work performed in the job system, maintaining comprehensive timesheets and tickets.
- Input and regularly update reporting and dashboards to track progress and performance metrics.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all project changes, ensuring transparency and consistency.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and propose potential enhancements to methods and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Recognize and escalate issues as needed, collaborating with hardware and software vendors when necessary.
- Oversee and maintain Office 365 tenants and on-premise infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify client requirements and devise superior solutions for scoping and development.
Training and Development:
- Contribute to complex quoting and the implementation of customer solutions.
- Stay current with training and certification requirements relevant to your role.
Daily Tasks:
- Scope Azure/SharePoint, Exchange solutions for clients and recommend best practice outcomes
- Perform project works and be responsible for adhering to timeframes and process
- Maintain oversight of project queues and opportunity for solution scoping
- Provide technical support for cloud related issues
- Maintain up-to-date documentation
- Communicate frequently with stakeholders about project process and technical challenges
- Work collaboratively with the project team to assist with overflow tasks
- Work on projects and keep to scheduled dates and timeframes
Your Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems.
- Demonstrated project management or project lead experience.
- Proven track record in IT services, particularly in managed services and successful project delivery.
- Experience in solution design and scoping.
- Strong technical acumen in IT systems, networks, and cloud technologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for fostering positive client relationships.
- Strong problem-analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Positive "can-do" attitude with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Keep up to date with nationally recognized qualifications in Information Technology.
- Ability to provide clear instructions and guidance to team members.
- Experience working with the Azure computing platform.
- Possession of relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco, and Microsoft is advantageous.
