Senior Auditor

The primary role of this person is to assist in reviewing, evaluating, and analyzing the company’s internal process in order to create implementation of audit plans and ensure that the internal company’s processes are reliable and have the information report to the management

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for ensuring all assigned audit engagements are carried out in a professional, timely and consistent manner.
• Lead and execute audits that identify, and analyses risks to the business, recommends improvements to the control environment and monitors resulting management action plans.
• Help to ensure significant risks of the business are being adequately and appropriately mitigated by management and to provide value to the business through effective and efficient audit recommendations.
• Implement audit strategies and programs for assessment of the Company’s various operations and processes affecting financial reporting.
• Perform walkthroughs, tests and analyses, gathers audit evidence, evaluates results, and develops conclusions about the adequacy of internal controls.
• Discuss the results of audit tests and conclusions with Company management and obtains agreement on facts.
• Collaborate with external auditors, enterprise risk, and compliance functions as well as other internal parties to minimize business disruptions related to audit activities.
  
  

What You Need To Have

• At least 5 to 6 years’ experience in a similar role
• Advance use of desktop applications, including data analysis tools
• Ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance and provide coaching to other internal audit team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management.
• Experience in performing multiple projects and working with varying team members.
  
  

What Can Set You Apart

• Strong understanding of risk and internal control concepts, in particular relating to consumer financing/financial services business processes and risk management
• Strong understanding in internal auditing standards, governance frameworks and risk assessment practices.
• With technical proficiency on the conduct of internal audit (including financial, operations, business and IT).
• Understanding of technical aspects of accounting and financial reporting
• Prior industry experience in financial services/banks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Knowledgeable in utilizing data analytics (SQL, Excel) in conducting review
