The Equities Operations Senior Analyst in Manilla is responsible for staying on top of all LSEG developments and their impact on the Equities Operations processes, developing system improvements and driving through change. They will work in partnership with colleagues in London and Colombo.

They will be responsible for acting as a Client Relationship Manager for a dedicated asset class alongside the primary market teams. They will provide SME knowledge and support on applications, regulatory changes, processes with internal and external bodies.

They are encouraged to be authorities in all Admission’s processes and will assist junior members as necessary. They will also undertake Admission’s processing i.e., input, checking and fee generation for all applications. Collaborating closely with external customers to address any queries daily.

Role summary:

The team is responsible for leading, amongst others, the admission process of securities to trading on all LSE plc Market, Advise and liaise with brokers, advisers, issuers, lawyers and Nomads on the admission process, ensuring they are aware of their obligations and ongoing responsibilities, referencing the Admission & Disclosure Document.

What you will be doing:

  • Act as an expert in all Equities Operations processes.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Stay on top of LSE developments and ensure that Equities Operations processes are updated as necessary.
  • Participation in internal projects passionate about process improvement and/or Regulatory change.
  • Will do project lead, undertaking the necessary documentation reviews and assisting UAT.
  • Escalation of any issues to the appropriate person (i.e., Manager, AIM Reg, Capital Markets etc).
  • Deputise for Assistant Manager as needed.
  • Undertake quality control checks.
  • Process applications for admission to trading on the Exchange’s markets with adherence to the Admission & Disclosure Standards and Rules of the Exchange
  • Liaise with Issuers, advisors, nomads, to answer their queries related to the admission process and to address any issues related to a specific application.
  • Generation of the fee’s calculations.
  • Demonstrating professional and adaptable approach when taking care of external customers.
  • Maintaining working relationships with key internal contacts and external organisations e.g., UKLA, Primary Markets, Stock Situations, Sedol, Masterfile, Finance.

What you will bring:

  • Good understanding and experience in Capital Markets and general financial markets and Customer base.
  • Post Trade knowledge / experience ideal but not a necessity.
  • Knowledge of the FCA requirements and other international, relevant, regulatory development, ideal but not a necessity.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and
  • Effective communication/relationship building skill.
  • Technical and analytical abilities to deliver automation and critical change
