About The Role
As a Senior AP/Expense Officer, you will be responsible in ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, legitimacy, appropriateness of payments and compliance to existing Bank’s policies and procedures and service level agreements. Also responsible in ensuring the integrity of financial information, timely maintenance of accurate records and reports, execution of instruction/task to deliver excellent result.

As a Senior AP/Expense Officer, you will be responsible in ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, legitimacy, appropriateness of payments and compliance to existing Bank’s policies and procedures and service level agreements. Also responsible in ensuring the integrity of financial information, timely maintenance of accurate records and reports, execution of instruction/task to deliver excellent result.
How You'll Contribute
- Supervises the sections activities and ensures that all deliverables are completed and on time
- Reviews and approves payments to supplier, cash dividend check to SBC stockholder, and reimbursements arising from fraud and scam cases
- Supervises the reconciliation of selected GL and P&L accounts, discrepancies if any are immediately investigated and corrected
- Reviews and approves the daily documents to support payables transactions on a timely and accurate manner
- Reviews payables daily processes and closes the period process (month-end and year-end) on a regular basis
- Oversee regular process review and improvement through updating of manuals of procedures, policies and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure that these are implemented accordingly
- Ensures compliance to internal controls and the bank’s policies and procedures in processing payables to mitigate risks
- At least 7-10 years of relevant experience with strong background in accounts payable
- Bachelor's degree of business or any relevant course
- Good understanding of basic banking and local taxation
- Well-developed analytical abilities and oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency/advance knowledge in MS Office Applications
