Job Description

THIS ROLE:

In this role, you will discover an amazing opportunity to progress to the senior accountant position. Explore new areas that will guide you towards enhanced professional achievements and significant influence.

What You Will Do

  • You will perform daily cash and position reconciliations; NAV review, GL, PL, and position reconciliations and investigate breaks.
  • You will book entries in the accounting system (enfusion), monitor, and reconcile bank debt activity.
  • You will work on fund expense reporting and payments and report to the front office and management (e.g., risk reporting, margin, financing)
  • You will liaise with the fund administrator throughout the month-end process. Reconcile the NAV pack and investor statements
  • You will regularly do client reporting and perform financial statement tie-outs
  • You will be responsible for reconciling source data against financial statements

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU:

  • You are a graduate of accounting or any business-related course with 4+ years relevant accounting experience.
  • You have previous work experience in the preparation of working paper files, financial statements with disclosures and other financial information.
  • You have intermediate Excel skills such as pivot tables, lookup, “if” and other similar functions.
  • Effective written and verbal intermediate communication skills.

Desired

  • Desire to complete Certified Public Accountant qualification, if applicable.
  • Experience working in Financial Services or Shared Services office environment.
  • Experience working in a multinational office environment.
  • Open to travel and other secondment opportunities abroad.
  • University Degree in Accountancy and other accounting-related courses.
  • Experience in using accounting software (Investran software is desired).
