Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned accountant, competent and skilled in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, intercompany transactions, financial accounting, cost and management accounting, tax compliance, and audit. He or she will handle different sets of books, support the finance manager on overseeing complex reconciliations, provide reliable financial insights and can-do P&L analysis.

Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned accountant, competent and skilled in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, intercompany transactions, financial accounting, cost and management accounting, tax compliance, and audit. He or she will handle different sets of books, support the finance manager on overseeing complex reconciliations, provide reliable financial insights and can-do P&L analysis.
Responsibilities:
- General Ledger & Month-end Close: Lead the closing activities and ensure everything is taken care of including data integrity from different modules such as the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, ICO, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and the General Ledger. He| She must also ensure that revenue and expense are recognized correctly and timely following the correct accounting standards and principles.
- Intercompany, Recharges and Management Accounting: Responds to the different stakeholders in case of questions related to IC charges and analyzing the personnel expenses as to correct cost centers.
- Account Reconciliations: Overall, in charge of the Balance Sheet files and review the accounts schedules and check any material errors or variances and ensure that any open items were discussed and corrected.
- Receivables & Payables: Review and monitor the AP and AR Aging Reports to avoid late payments and ensure timely collections. Can evaluate potential high-risks accounts.
- Internal & External Audit: Assist in the preparation of schedules and other financial records during external audit and act as the first level of escalation for audit requirements and assist the Finance Manager on the schedules required for the FS disclosures and complete the internal lead schedules.
- Internal Controls and Process Improvement: Help on streamlining closing procedures, automating manual tasks, and implementing best practices to shorten the close cycle without sacrificing accuracy. Can develop, implement or recommend changes to its accounting procedures when applicable, and can maintain and enforce control procedures to prevent errors, fraud, and misstatements.
- Tax and Other Compliances: Have an understanding to the regulations of BIR, SEC, DTI, PEZA, BOI, and DOLE.
- Team Leadership: Can manage accountants, junior accountants, or interns and ensure that the team performs on a daily grind. Also initiate an alternative method of coaching the team as needed.
- Ad hoc: Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time by the finance manager or finance supervisor.
- CPA is required, with more than 5 years of experience handling financial accounting, FS preparation and have handled at least two (2-3) people.
- Excellent to Advance MS Excel skills for financial reporting.
- Experience in Oracle Fusion or any similar ERP system for 3 years.
- Keen to details, focus and with high regard to integrity
- With BPO accounting/finance experience.
- Pro-active and solution oriented.
