About The Role ….
- Preparation of individual taxation returns
- Preparation of company, trust & partnership taxation returns & financial statements
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements
- Preparing of various other statutory requirements (superannuation, payroll tax, Work Cover etc.)
- Tax Planning for a varied client base
We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bringing the WOW with the following qualifications:
- A minimum 4 years of Australian experience dealing with the preparation of tax returns & financial statements for businesses
- Strong communication skills and an eye for detail
- An ability to work independently and under pressure
- An ability to priorities work effectively
- Experience with a variety of accounting packages, including Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks etc.
- Softwares:
- Xero – Xero, Xero Practice Manager & Xero Tax
- SuiteFiles
- BGL – SimpleFund360 & CAS360
- Personality traits:
- Strong Logic and problem solving skills, if you’re not good at solving maths and logic problems, then you will struggle in this role.
- Ability to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow a process
- Ability to document a process / update an SOP
- Friendly manner and strong communication
- Ability to complete tasks on time, with the minimum of assistance
