About The Role ….

  • Preparation of individual taxation returns
  • Preparation of company, trust & partnership taxation returns & financial statements
  • Preparation of Business Activity Statements
  • Preparing of various other statutory requirements (superannuation, payroll tax, Work Cover etc.)
  • Tax Planning for a varied client base

About You ….

We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bringing the WOW with the following qualifications:

  • A minimum 4 years of Australian experience dealing with the preparation of tax returns & financial statements for businesses
  • Strong communication skills and an eye for detail
  • An ability to work independently and under pressure
  • An ability to priorities work effectively
  • Experience with a variety of accounting packages, including Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks etc.
  • Softwares:
    • Xero – Xero, Xero Practice Manager & Xero Tax
    • SuiteFiles
    • BGL – SimpleFund360 & CAS360
  • Personality traits:
    • Strong Logic and problem solving skills, if you’re not good at solving maths and logic problems, then you will struggle in this role.
    • Ability to multitask
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to follow a process
    • Ability to document a process / update an SOP
    • Friendly manner and strong communication
    • Ability to complete tasks on time, with the minimum of assistance
