Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including the review, resolution of escalations, and transitioning of Local Office account reconciliations and reporting. The role involves maintaining the general ledger, reviewing financial statements, supporting both local and statutory reporting, assisting with internal and external audits, and reconciling accounts across the global network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned accounting tasks and reporting to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company accounting standards.
• Prepare, review, and resolve escalations related to Balance Sheet and P&L account analyses across the global network, recommending solutions as needed.
• Post general journal entries for adjustments based on reconciliations, analyses, or audit findings.
• Prepare and review reconciliation schedules, including Bank, VAT, Payroll, and Fixed Assets reconciliations.
• Calculate expense forecasts and prepare monthly management expense analysis reports.
• Provide support during audits by assisting with audit requirements.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires, refresher courses, and cross-functional training.
• Create, update, and maintain process documentation for accounting procedures.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required by the Manager and stakeholders.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years General Accounting experience
• Excellent comms skills
• Managed global stakeholder
• Knowledgeable in IFRS
