Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will engage in various activities aimed at enhancing the security posture of enterprise systems and applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to identify vulnerabilities, participating in discussions to solve security-related challenges, and contributing to the development of security protocols that protect sensitive information and assets from potential cyber threats. You will also be involved in continuous learning to stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies. Roles & Responsibilities: Analyze Android apps APK Proactive identification and flagging of malicious applications / SDKs Understanding mobile threats and responding to incidents and escalations Writing reports to document findings Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field such as Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Experience with Java programming Good interpersonal and communication skills Strong self-motivation and orientation toward results Preferred Qualifications Experience with Android OS and apps, Java or Kotlin Secondary Experience with Application Security or Security Auditing, eg static and dynamic analysis of malicious binaries Experience on tools such as APKTool, JADX/ JEB, Burp/ Charles Proxy, IDA Pro General ability to solve semi-complicated problems Very good to have understanding or experience of PHA Potentially Harmful applications classification on Android platform Additional Information: - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum less than 1 year(s) of experience is required
