Job Summary

The Senior Analyst takes on more complex credit and risk assessments, often handling key accounts or high value transactions. They also contribute to policy development and may lead projects aimed at improving credit processes.

Responsibilities

Credit Analysis :

• Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine creditworthiness
• Review credit limits and make recommendations for adjustments
• Monitor credit risk and proactively identify potential issues
• Create and maintain credit reports and records
  
  

Collections Management

• Develop and implement collection strategies
• Contact customers to resolve past due accounts
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements
• Maintain accurate and up to date collection notes and records
  
  

Dispute Resolution

• Investigate and resolve customer disputes and discrepancies
• Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing and payment issues
• Escalate complex disputes to appropriate management
  
  

Process Improvement

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
• Streamline credit and collections processes to increase efficiency
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve overall credit and collections operations
  
  

Reporting And Analysis

• Generate and analyze credit and collections reports
• Identify trends and provide insights to management
• Communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders
  
  

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
  
  

Team Management

• Oversee and mentor junior credit and collections analysts
• Assign and prioritize tasks to team members
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching
  
  

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
• Stay up to date on industry regulations and best practices
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance
  
  

Training And Development

• Develop and conduct training programs for new and existing team members
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members
• Stay current on credit and collections industry trends and best practices and share knowledge with team members.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Advanced Financial Analysis experience in evaluating complex credit situations and proposing solutions.
• Ability to Identify potential credit risks and mitigating strategies.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align documentation processes with business goals.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to identify issues quickly and develop effective solutions.
