Lavu is searching for high-energy, driven professionals with technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join, and help build, our Sales Team. You will help lay the foundation of this sales effort through prospecting prospective restaurant owners and articulating the value of Lavu for their business. As a Sales Development Representative, you will work strategically with our inside sales team to qualify deals and create dramatic growth for you and the company.
As the first line of contact, you are able to understand the diverse needs of our restaurant operators. You are quick on your feet, tenacious, and possess grit to overcome objections. You will become an expert in the products and services that enables restaurants to thrive with our best in class restaurant management system. You will use your convincing personality and passion for winning to raise the bar of success, documenting and tracking qualified opportunities to pass onto our account executives. You will use a data-driven approach to outbound sales that incorporates outbound phone calling 100 prospects per day and email communication.

This role is open to highly qualified remote candidates working EST 8am-5pm/9am-6pm. This is an independent contractor, remote role.
This role is office based, meaning if remote, a suitable space that allows for uninterrupted work is required. This role requires customer facing interaction including scheduled meetings using Video and Phone Conferencing tools.

Job requires sitting, typing, and talking for long periods of time on both phone and video conferences.

Responsibilities
- Conduct high volume prospecting for qualified leads (100+ outbound calls per day).
- Research and prioritize prospective restaurants.
- Create a great first impression to our prospects and inspire them to learn how Lavu can benefit their business.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the inside sales team to deliver qualified leads demonstrations.
- Build our business through outreach emails and phone calls.
- Schedule online and onsite product demonstrations for Inside and Field Sales Representatives
- Conduct needs assessments calls with specific prospects as assigned
- Gain sales exposure and experience by partnering with our sales reps.
You have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong desire to grow your career in sales.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Skilled in multitasking with different technologies
- Determination, positive attitude, and ability to self-motivate.
- Critical thinking and strong decision making abilities.
- An assertive, resilient and persuasive personality.
- No reservations communicating over the phone.
- Coachability, interest in implementing feedback, and dedication to the consistent improvement of your craft.
- Curiosity and ambition to learn more about Lavu and our POS market.
- Experience in client-facing or sales role.
- 1-3 years in a qualifying or prospecting role preferred.
