Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree relevant to the job
• Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
• Training: 16 hours of relevant training
• Eligibility: Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility
• Preference: With experience in writing research proposals and curriculum framework; conducting educational research; leading/conducting teacher training programs, constructing valid and reliable test items in the field of specialization

Job Functions:

• Plans and implements education programs for the PSHS System;
• Conceptualizes studies in the areas of academics (e.g. developing proposals, frameworks), assessment, curriculum;
• Designs professional development programs for teachers in the field of specialization;
• Spearheads implementation of research activities;
• Develops or critiques test-items in the field of specialization;
• Develops or critiques learning resources that will support implementation of curriculum;
• Acts as subject matter expert; and
• Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
