Job Responsibilities
The Scheduler plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of care services. The primary purpose of this role is to manage and coordinate the scheduling of staff to ensure optimal coverage for all services, in alignment with the needs of our clients and operational requirements. The Scheduler is responsible for creating and adjusting schedules to accommodate staffing levels, managing leave requests, and addressing any coverage gaps or emergencies. By effectively balancing staff availability and care and service requirements, the Scheduler supports the seamless operation of the organisation, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care. Additionally, the Scheduler will foster a positive work environment by facilitating clear communication between staff and management, ensuring that the team is well informed and supported.

Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in administration or other relevant field. Willingness to complete additional education/courses as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with vulnerable, aged, and disadvantaged people.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Professional and friendly phone manner.
- Ability to follow documented procedures.
- Liaise with clients to understand their preferences of workers and times of service.
- Liaise with Care Managers to ensure service requests and provision are within approved budgets
- Support the maintenance of client and staff documentation and records Liaise with staff regarding their availability.
- Undertake scheduling (rostering) of shifts in accordance with industrial agreements/awards.
- Support the sales of services to clients by advocating service provision.
- Change shifts/appointments to suit client and staff availability.
- Send out service reminders to clients and staff.
- Provide administrative support.
- Contribute to Policy review and implementation.
- Foster, build, and work within a cohesive team of staff that are committed to providing excellent of service.
- Promote Carexcell at every opportunity within the community.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for expansion and additional service delivery to the leadership.
- Any other activity as directed by the Managing Director or their delegate
