SAP S/4 and FIORI Authorization Support

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time SAP S/4 and FIORI Authorization Support to join our team. As an expert in SAP security and authorization, the candidate will play a pivotal role in configuring, managing, and optimizing SAP authorizations to ensure a secure and compliant environment. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the robustness of our SAP systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Authorization Configuration:

• Configure and maintain SAP authorization roles, profiles, and permissions in accordance with security policies, SODs, and business requirements.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand authorization needs and implement appropriate access controls.
• Security and Fiori rollout implementation for the new plant.

2. User Access Management:

• Administer user access controls, ensuring adherence to the principle of least privilege.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of SAP user roles to identify and address security vulnerabilities.

3. Security Compliance:

• Ensure SAP system compliance with internal and external security standards, including regulatory requirements.
• Participate in and support SAP security audits and assessments.

4. Incident Response and Resolution:

• Monitor and respond to authorization-related security incidents within the SAP environment.
• Investigate and resolve authorization issues, collaborating with SAP support team2.

5. Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP authorization configurations, user roles, and access controls.
• Develop and update authorization-related policies and procedures as needed.

6. Training and Awareness:

• Conduct training sessions to educate L1 and other IT staff on SAP authorization best practices.
• Promote awareness of security policies and ensure understanding of the importance of compliance.

7. Continuous Monitoring and Improvement:

• Implement and maintain tools for continuous monitoring of SAP authorization activities.
• Stay informed about the latest SAP security trends and vulnerabilities, recommending improvements to enhance overall system security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years experience as an SAP Authorization Analyst or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, roles, and profiles.
• Experience with SAP security tools and audit processes.
• Strong hands on experience in SAP FIORI roles and design like groups and pages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining a secure SAP environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Roll-out implementation experience is a must.
• Strong Fiori transactions and reports skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to SAP security (e.g., GDPR, SOX) is a plus.
