SAP PI/PO Integration Consultant

The Opportunity

• Design, develop, and implement interfaces using SAP PI/PO (7.5 or higher), including AEX, ESR, and ID components
• Handle both synchronous and asynchronous scenarios using adapters such as IDoc, SOAP, REST, SFTP, File, JDBC, RFC, etc.
• Perform interface mapping (Graphical, Java, XSLT, ABAP) and configuration
• Support end-to-end integration architecture and documentation of integration processes
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in SAP PI/PO system, including performance tuning and error handling
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams, developers, and business users to gather requirements and translate into integration solutions
• Provide support for system upgrades, patches, and cutover activities involving PI/PO interfaces
• Adhere to IT change control and release management processes
• Ensure integration solutions align with enterprise architecture and security standards

Desired Experience

• 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO integration
• Strong expertise in message mappings, routing, and configuration in ESR and Integration Directory
• Experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with adapters (REST, SOAP, IDOC, RFC, JDBC, FILE, SFTP, etc.)
• Good knowledge of XML, XSLT, WSDL, and web service standards
• Familiarity with ABAP proxies and working with backend developers
• Experience with BPM and BRM on PO is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Ability to work independently, meaning ability to plan and schedule their own work.
