Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability of the SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP landscapes, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other related systems.
• Monitor system performance and availability, analyzing system logs and troubleshooting issues to ensure high availability of SAP applications.
• Manage user accounts and authorizations, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Oversee the transport management process, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of changes across development, quality assurance, and production environments.
• Administer SAP databases (e.g., HANA, Oracle, SQL Server), including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for SAP environments.
• Work closely with functional teams and stakeholders to support SAP projects, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical guidance.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure regular testing of backup and recovery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, including SAP NetWeaver and HANA.
• Experience with database administration (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and backup/recovery processes.
• Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
• SAP Basis certification is a plus.
