Job Description:
- This person will provide the necessary support to Head, Market Development (Asset Management, and Relationship Managers and to grow the business in their assigned territory. He/she will be tasked to communicate regularly with the agency force and other Sun Life employees to promote the business and resolve administrative matters. This person will be tasked to generate and monitor regular reports of the agency sales team including but not limited to, monitoring files for sales, AC, on-going agency and client promotions, etc. Administrative functions such as processing of revolving funds, cash advances, and other administrative functions required by his or her assigned territory are also included in this role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- At least 3 years’ experience in sales, sales training and sales management
- Face-to-face selling experience an advantage
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Basic Knowledge of MS Word, Advance knowledge of MS Excel
- Preferably a graduate of business, finance or marketing course.
- 3 to 5 years relevant sales and training experience will be an advantage
- Help implement agreed sales strategies by communicating regularly to the agency force, branch secretaries, branch sales service associates and other employees.
- Update presentation materials, generate sales reports, investment proposals, and approach letters for distribution to financial advisors.
- Monitor agency and client promotions and update sales teams.
- Conduct branch visits and coordinate with sales service associates to ensure that marketing collaterals are updated and present in their assigned branches.
- Handle administrative tasks such as processing of liquidation, cash advances, reimbursements, hotel and transportation accommodations, etc.
