Sales Engineer (Davao)

The Sales Engineer is responsible for the project development cycle, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and coordinating activities with the necessary departments until project closing and turnover to operations. This includes scoping of additional requirements of existing clients, upsell, and system upgrades.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding of what the customer will need in terms of on-going service and manage expectations on the customer and sales side.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations that explain key technical aspects of solutions that will benefit customers and prospects.
• Provide answers to client questions about our product, servicing, and other technical aspects of the product.
• Be able to think critically and suggest improvements that might lead to cost savings or other client benefits.
• Work with the client to problem-solve through every hurdle during the sales process.
• Lead site visits for properly filtered clients to scope the client’s requirements and project scope
• Creating accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits considering the requirements of the clients and suggest the best implementation of solar PV for their demand
• Seamlessly integrating and working with project managers, design consultants, and sub-contractors, to produce and alter drawings.
• Assist with project turnover to operations
• Design plans for scoping
• Research on technological advancements
• Perform all other functions and activities as necessary

• Registered Electrical Engineer with a passion for client interaction and sales is preferred
• Must be analytical, have excellent time management skills, strong communication skills, strong problem solving skills, and keen attention to detail
• Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills
• Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
• Work requires exceptional written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate and interact with C-level personnel
• Work requires independence and initiative, self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
• Work requires willingness to travel and to have a flexible schedule
• Strong ability to quickly comprehend and explain complex engineering concepts in simple, effective terms.
• Ability to work in concert with team members to build the most effective presentations that blend technical facts with tangible benefits.
• Coaching skills to help co-workers quickly understand and explain new and emerging technical concepts.
• Ability to work in a wide range of software programs that support our business (Excel, PowerPoint, & CAD)
• Can be a Fresh Graduate
• Willing to travel time to time
• Can speak the dialect (Bisaya/Waray etc.)
• Ability to commute/relocate: Davao, Davao: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
• Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
• Experience: Sales Engineer: 1 year (Preferred)
• Language: Bisaya/ waray etc. (Required)
