Job Responsibilities
Edwards is a leading developer and manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum products, exhaust management systems and related value-added services. Edwards solutions are integral to manufacturing processes for semiconductors, flat panel displays, LEDs and solar cells. They are also used within an increasingly diverse range of industrial processes including power, glass and other coating applications; steel and other metallurgy; pharmaceutical and chemical; and for scientific instruments in a wide range of R&D applications.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective business plans (sales coverage and competency development) to support VT's industrial vacuum mission and growth plan.
- Create and execute business plans for new products in line with VT's growth strategy and direction.
- Achieve sales targets within the assigned product range and territory.
- Pursue sales leads, promote products, and conclude orders with professionalism.
- Coordinate with internal colleagues to execute sales orders.
- Provide feedback and reports on all sales-related activities and market information to the Business Line Manager.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Promote services and products of other equipment divisions whenever possible.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments as instructed by the Business Line Manager.
- Increase market share through strategic planning and customer relationship management.
- Ensure brand awareness and educate customers about products.
- Make Atlas Copco the preferred choice for customers.
- Sell and promote vacuum pumps and systems within the assigned area and product responsibilities.
- Visit and monitor customer activities regularly.
- Search for prospects and gather information through various channels.
- Improve product knowledge and sales skills continuously.
- Maintain good relationships with customers and contacts.
- Plan weekly visits and prepare quotations, bid documents, and sales letters.
- Use company assets responsibly.
- Report lost orders.
- Achieve yearly sales targets.
- Analyze customer needs and assist in equipment selection.
- Coordinate closely with customers to gather technical information for evaluation.
- Evaluate customer specifications and liaise with sub-contractors as needed.
- Prepare layout drawings for vacuum system positioning at destination sites.
- Supervise installation progress through site visits when required.
- Hand over all documents to the service department for future maintenance.
- Collect and analyze competitors' data.
- Organize rough vacuum seminars for customers.
- Support the finance department in collecting payments from customers when required.
- Computer literacy.
- Good command of English.
- Skills in presentation, business writing, negotiation, socializing, and selling.
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Licensed Engineer is an advantage.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- High initiative in problem-solving within sales and marketing.
- Good organizational, planning, and follow-up skills; proactive and able to prioritize.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
