Job Role: Sales Development Representative (004 - 00272)

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Compensation range: up to 1,800 AUD / Month (Depends on the client assessment)

Contract Type: Independent Contractor Agreement; Full-Time; Remote


Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.


Who The Client Is: The client is a fast-growing SaaS company that helps local service businesses enhance their online visibility by automating customer review collection through personalized SMS follow-ups. Their platform integrates with CRMs, invoicing, and other business systems to make the process seamless. They operate in a large, untapped market where consistent customer reviews are essential for growth. Team members work directly with the founder, who has extensive experience in leading tech companies and mentors the sales team personally. This role offers strong growth potential, performance-based incentives, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the company’s continued expansion.


Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to conduct outbound calls to Australian businesses, generate interest, qualify prospects, and book qualified discovery/demo calls with the founder. This is a contractor position — you’ll have the flexibility to manage your own time, with calls generally made during Australian business hours to maximise connection rates.


What You’ll Do:

  • Make pure outbound calls to targeted prospects from a provided leadlist
  • Use provided templates and training materials to introduce the client's value proposition
  • Qualify prospects against our Good Fit Customer Profile (training provided)
  • Book qualified discovery/demo calls into the founder’s calendar
  • Record activities, notes, and outcomes in HubSpot CRM
  • Follow up on no-shows and rebook where possible


Good Fit Customer Profile (summary)

  • High-volume, local service business (50+ customers/month)
  • Uses a CRM, booking, invoicing, or payment system we can integrate with
  • Has a verified Google Business Profile
  • Decision maker is the business owner or marketing manager with budget authority


KPIs & Expectations (minimum performance targets)

  • 2 qualified meetings booked per day
  • 40 qualified meetings booked per month (must meet Good Fit criteria)
  • 40–50 outbound calls per day
  • 40–50 emails/SMS per day (as part of the follow-up process)


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of pure outbound sales experience
  • Demonstrated results with measurable KPIs: Calls per day, Meetings booked, Target ICP / type of product sold, Quota achievement.
  • Show rate and close rate (if available)
  • Strong track record in cold calling and prospecting
  • Experience with SMB-focused sales in Western markets
  • Familiarity with sales tools: CRM (HubSpot preferred), VoIP phone systems, productivity apps
