Sales and Marketing Manager (HMO & Insurance )

Role Description

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for spearheading new business acquisitions, meeting sales targets, leading and mentoring the sales account managers, and strategically building the market presence. This role also involves collaborating with the renewal team to ensure that new business transitions smoothly to the renewal phase and maintains a high rate of contract renewals in the HMO industry.

Job Responsibilities

• New Business Acquisition: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to attract and secure new business opportunities.
• Target Achievement: Set sales targets for the new business team and ensure alignment with the organization’s growth objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales account managers, providing guidance and support to achieve team and individual goals.
• Market Strategy Development: Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to devise and implement effective market strategies.
• Collaboration with Renewal Team: Collaborate with the renewal team to develop strategies and initiatives to achieve high renewal rates for new business clients.
• Sales and Marketing Integration: Coordinate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts, ensuring consistency in messaging and promotional activities.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and team achievements to senior management.
• Process Improvement: Develop and maintain best practices for new business acquisition and client management.

Job Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 Years of working experience in Sales and Marketing Management.
• Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Sales - Corporate or equivalent.
• HMO/Insurance experience is an advantage
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and sales performance to drive strategic decisions.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools.
• Willing to work onsite and be assigned in the Pasig area
