Safety/Pollution Control Officer

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of any 4-year course
• With SO3 and PCO Training
• Familiarity with Philippine Safety, Health, and Environmental Laws and Regulations
• At least 2-3 years of working experience as SO/Pollution Control Officer
• Knowledgeable in processing /documentation of DENR, DOLE, BFP, PEZA Compliance
• Knowledgeable in DENR, and other environmental laws and regulations. With good communication and reporting skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the overall management of the OSH Program in coordination with the OSH Committee
• Handle, monitor, and process permits, and certificates required by DENR, DOLE, PEZA, BFP, and other related government agencies.
• Carry out inspection and monitor the implementation of various Safety procedures and preventive measures
• Inspect all workplaces and promote safe conduct of work.
• Perform all the tasks required by the company or activities necessary in the company
• Check and assess the safety condition and working environment of the company facility and operation
• Secure and update mandatory Environmental reports and permits such as SMR & CMR and other regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for coordinating reports on environmental incidents, dangerous occurrences, injuries and accidents. In charge with the implementation of Company's Environmental Management System
• Conduct site induction, training forum and toolbox talk, as appropriate, to provide instruction on specific Environmental, Safety, and Health concerns
