The Safety Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and regulatory compliance of all Robinsons Malls. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive safety programs aligned with national fire safety codes and occupational safety and health standards. The Safety Manager leads emergency preparedness initiatives, incident investigations, and safety training programs, while coordinating closely with mall operations, engineering, construction teams, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce corporate safety policies and procedures across all mall sites.
• Ensure compliance with RA 11058 (OSH Law), DOLE D.O. 198-18, BFP, LGU, and other regulatory mandates.
• Supervise site-based Safety Officers and validate safety compliance during mall operations, events, and renovations.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management coordination.
• Facilitate safety training programs for mall personnel, contractors, and emergency teams.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies for inspections and audits.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare executive-level reports.
• Support safety readiness during mall openings and construction projects.
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Occupational Health and Safety, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior safety leadership role, preferably in mall, commercial, or multi-site operations.
• Strong background in emergency preparedness, incident investigation, safety auditing, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with mall operations, tenant coordination, and construction site safety.
• Certifications in Safety Management, Emergency Risk Management, or Facility Management are an advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills.
