What are our wishes?
- Bachelor’s degree or tertiary-level institute diploma/certificate preferable in Information Technology, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, or Computer Science-related courses or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in robotic process automation and their application to complex business requirements
Technical Knowledge:
- Hands-on working experience in Power Automate and AI Builder
- Experience in building automation using Azure platforms, integration with AI/ML models, integration with different sources (e.g. SharePoint, OneDrive, network folders, etc.), integration Power Platform solutions (i.e. Microsoft 365, Azure services, Dataverse, Power BI, third-party APIs, on-premises systems using connectors, custom APIs, data gateways, etc.)
- Experience in Python programming, JSON and XML
- Experience in modeling databases for automation (RDBMs, or any open-source DB)
- Well versed with agile methodologies for delivery and use of tools like Azure Devops, Git, etc.
- Knowledge in Automation Anywhere A360 and VB macro are added advantage
How can you contribute to the team?
About the Role:
The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing and deploying RPA robots. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying automated processes and robot configurations throughout the development lifecycle. The RPA developer will also analyze and fix robot errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where needed. This individual will also help in gathering requirements, building business cases, and estimating effort for new robots and enhancements of existing ones. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of RPA development best practices are critical to successful performance in this role.
Scope of Work/Responsibilities
Specific tasks and service requirements required on a daily basis.
1. Strategy and Planning:
- Assist other developers in conceptualizing and developing new robots.
- Plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) using Scaled Agile Framework, DevOps, CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) testing, and deployment.
- Assist in the research, preparation and documentation of robot requirements and solutions.
- Assist in setup and maintenance of different environments and help in troubleshooting if needed.
- Understand the technological pain areas of users and help create proof of concepts that align to their needs.
2. Acquisition and Deployment:
- Conduct research on emerging RPA platform features, capabilities, and standards in support of procurement and development.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform enhancements on the robots.
3. Operational Management:
- Consistently write, translate, and code robots according to design
- Run and monitor performance tests on new and existing robots for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas of improvement, and general debugging
- Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
- Generate statistics and prepare and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of delivery
- Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines
- Liaise with RPA administrators to assist in resolving problems with the robots
- Manage and/or provide guidance to junior developers.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid, requiring employees to report onsite three times a week. If the user unit requires contractors to report to HQ, compliance is mandatory.
- Work Schedule is from 8:00AM – 5:00PM Manila Time.
