Under the supervision and guidance of her/his primary Community of Practice Lead and Product Group Manager, the Developer’s role is to manage/perform IS/IT development initiatives which include not only the development but also the specification, testing and deployment of application configuration, assembly or customization against organization’s standards, procedures, ways of working and guidelines. In a DevOps/agile team, the developer contributes to the application life cycle. S/he provides technology to satisfy the needs of stakeholders by interpreting business requirements, defining technical tasks, engineering quality software, performing end-to-end testing, as well as supporting and troubleshooting technical questions, software and database issues.

Perform IS/IT Development Activities
- Delivers high assurance code in the selected technologies of the product, including testing and deployment
- Supports scoping, planning and designing end-to-end solutions (provide estimations)
- Evaluates technologies and establishes their relevance and feasibility
- Develops technical support documentation within agreed standards, reviews and approves technical support documentation produced by developers
- Designs and reviews user and system interfaces, database design or database administration and data models within design constraints
- Conducts quality assurance and approves developed code
- Constructs, interprets and executes end-to-end system and program tests to verify correct operation of completed systems
- Ensures that applications are built or assembled in line with continual delivery/continual integration standards, adherences to release methodology and technical change management procedures for all changes
- Documents work done as necessary
- Actively looks for opportunities to shorten development times, improves skills of the team and improves cost efficiency of application development activities
- Produces outline system specifications using solution designs, functional specifications or technical specifications as input, including input into scope, constraints (such as performance or resources), hardware, network and software environments
- Assists in the assessment and selection of suitable software packages and technologies to meet all or parts of specified requirements
- Participates in Communities of Practice
- Works with Behavioral Analyst & Consumer Experience Specialists seeking guidance on front-end design
- Stakeholder engagement
- Collaborates with colleagues from different disciplines in a cross-functional team to deliver against iteration targets
- Reviews input into risk analysis and development plans in order to consider the impact of design decisions
- Manages risks related to application development and implementation
- Responsible for ensuring code complies to Industry and Nestle security Standards to deliver Security, Compliance & Privacy by design
- Consults more junior developers on technical aspects of application development, controls, documentation standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or similar is an advantage
- 3+ years of development experience including ideally 2-3 in DevOps/agile teams
- At least 2 years of experience with an RPA tool (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate)
- Has good understanding of RPA concept and Process Design Documents (PDD)
- Knowledge in SAP recorded scripts
- Coding experience in VBA, VB Net and Selenium
- Working knowledge in SQL
- Proficient in MS office applications including Power Apps, SharePoint
- Broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the code to create the solutions
- Experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, testing and release tools
- Experience with virtualization (e.g. VMWare, Xen, KVM) and configuration management systems (e.g. Puppet, Chef, etc.)
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
- Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
