Duties:

  • Maintain and monitor the Inventory of ROPA Accounts of the respective Regional Lending Unit, ensuring that all records of ROPA properties are accurate, updated and in order;
  • Monitor and ensure the regular conduct/updating of property appraisals and on-site inspection, payment of real property taxes and fire insurance are done in a timely manner;
  • Process transfer of ownership or consolidation of title which includes payment of corresponding taxes with various government agencies and other activities relative thereto;
  • Assist in the marketing of acquired assets of the Corporation and accept/facilitate requests from bidder and prospective buyers of ROPA properties, either by way of redemption or negotiated sale;
  • Assist in the conduct of on-site inspections of ROPA properties and prepare reports thereof;
  • Prepare notifications to clients in relation to redemption of ROPA properties, ensuring that expiry of redemption period is communicated in a timely manner;
  • Coordinate with CSARG-Head Office as to sending of notices and other communications to ROPA clients and/or SCR borrowers;
  • Coordinate with CSARG-Head Office and assist in the preparation/facilitation of documents on public bidding activities of ROPA properties;
  • Coordinate with Regional Lending Unit and assist CSARG-Head Office in the documentation of past due accounts for write-off, ensuring that all documentary requirements per checklist (Past Due Accounts for Write-Off Summary Sheet or PDAWOSS) are complete and in order to support the recommendation to write-off the accounts; and
  • Perform other work-related functions and duties that may be assigned from time to time.
