Robotics Deployment Engineer ( Cebu Based)

Teradyne, a global leader in industrial automation and robotics solutions, is seeking skilled and dedicated Robotics Deployment Engineers to join our dynamic team. As a Robotics Deployment Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge robot solutions based on Universal Robots' cobot arms and Mobile Industrial Robots' (MiR) Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) to our key customers in the semiconductor industry across the APAC region.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and customize UR cobot arms and MiR AMRs to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct light proof-of-concept work to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of robot solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during deployment, working in partnership with UR and MiR R&D teams.
• Deploy standard UR and MiR solutions as well as innovative Mobile Cobot solutions combining both technologies.
• Travel to customer sites within the APAC region, mainly South East Asia and Taiwan, to oversee robot installation, testing, and optimization.
• Document deployment processes, best practices, and lessons learned to contribute to the team's knowledge base.
  
  

Basic Qualifications, Education & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Preferred experience in deploying Universal Robots (UR) and/or Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), or similar cobot arms and AMRs.
• Proficiency in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting UR and MiR robots.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with UR and MiR R&D teams to address technical challenges.
• Full English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Goal getter in problem-solving and deployment delivery against schedule.
