About the Role

The Risk and Compliance Manager oversees VAP’s comprehensive risk & compliance management area, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the company. The role also ensures consistent, regular, and objective audits across divisions.


Ideal Candidate (Must Have Experience)

  • Must be Cebu-based
  • Having worked in the Virtual Assistance/BPO industry is a requirement
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management policies and best practices
  • PMI-RMP Certified
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Superb organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Knowledgeable in creating safety and security policies, business continuity, and recovery measures
  • Able to identify gaps or inconsistencies within a business process or system and come up with action plans to address them
  • Able to recommend and implement a stable risk management system
  • Must be willing to work on-site (IT Park Office)


Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conducts risk assessments, collecting and analysing data, statistics, reports, and market trends
  • Creates policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organisation
  • Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols - establish recommendations and implement modifications and improvements
  • Reviews and analyses metrics and data such as screen capture violations
  • Presents risk reports and proposals
  • Manage data security, implement site safety, and ensure the realisation of the data security commitment to the client
  • Conducts data security training and carries out regular security audits
