Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Taguig
Contract type: Full time
Our vision for the future is based on the idea that transforming financial lives starts by giving our people the freedom to transform their own. We have a flexible work environment, and fluid career paths. We not only encourage but celebrate internal mobility. We also recognize the importance of purpose, well-being, and work-life balance. Within Empower and our communities, we work hard to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, and our associates dedicate thousands of hours to volunteering for causes that matter most to them.

Chart your own path and grow your career while helping more customers achieve financial freedom. Empower Yourself.

The Retirement Consultant – Roll In (Consultant) drives consolidation of assets into proprietary employer sponsored retirement plans by acting as a single point of contract, educator, and consultant for individual customers throughout the entirety of the process. Consultants work autonomously to maintain a book of business and provide positive outcomes and experiences for customers by scheduling meetings with individual customers, holding conference calls with contra firms & customers, providing individualized education and support throughout the consolidation process.

Consultants independently and effectively manage a high volume of scheduled meetings, inbound calls, outbound calls, and email correspondence with customers while making themselves available to receive real-time warm handoffs of newly generated leads from call centers. Consultants will assist customers with any Rollover, Exchange, or Transfer to ensure the process is completed properly by both the contra firm and Empower.

What You Will Do

  • Place outbound calls to and handle inbound calls from our participant base, with the objective of consolidating their retirement savings into their employer sponsored plan with Empower
  • Demonstrate expertise in retirement investment vehicles, especially 401(k), 403(b), 457b, 401(a), and IRAs
  • Provide exceptional service required for the administration of the rollover process, and develop solutions for unique problems/situations
  • Service rollover relationship from opportunity handoff through close, increasing participant touch, satisfaction, and loyalty
  • Request educational and marketing material for participants as necessary
  • Build team camaraderie and focus efforts toward a shared goal objective
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented call center environment

What You Will Bring

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2 years of experience in financial services
  • Ability to work within a flexible call center schedule and environment
  • FINRA 6 & 63 registrations required within established timelines
  • FINRA fingerprinting upon hire

What Will Set You Apart

  • Prior telephone experience preferred
  • Customer-focused, outward approach to delivery of retail asset gathering opportunities
  • Strong desire to meet the needs of internal and external customers
