Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Licensed Food Technologist (if applicable)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant R&D experience in any of the following food industry segments: baking/pastry
  • Strong background in product development, formulation, and sensory evaluation
  • Knowledgeable in food safety regulations and quality control standards
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve technical problems in product development
  • Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

Job Responsibilities

  • Product Development:
  • Design and develop new ice cream flavors and beverage formulations.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to refine products.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align product development with market trends.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor and maintain product quality and consistency throughout production.
  • Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure compliance with food safety

regulations.

  • Investigate and resolve product issues and customer complaints.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all products meet federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and labeling for all products.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with production teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on product handling and safety.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for raw material sourcing and quality assessment.
  • Research and Innovation:
  • Conduct research on new ingredients and technologies to improve products.
  • Explore opportunities for sustainable practices and ingredient sourcing.
  • Participate in industry conferences and workshops to enhance knowledge and network.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Schedule: 8 hour shift
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Las Piñas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
