You’ll Be Responsible For
- Developing forms and tools for collecting project and program status information.
- Coordinating production and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reports.
- Establishing and maintaining the weekly and monthly reporting calendar.
- Reviewing and editing reports for quality.
- Supporting the development and implementation of standard procedures for reporting aspects of the program.
- Developing requirements for PowerBI dashboards and working with the technical team to ensure the dashboards are delivered to requirements.
- Supporting the ongoing continuous enhancement of reporting, identifying opportunities for process and systems improvements.
- Undertaking a quality review of reports and coordinating with PMCs and other reporting resources to provide feedback and improve quality.
- Organizing and facilitating PMC monthly review meetings.
- Having knowledge of SharePoint, PowerBI, and programme management information systems (PMIS).
- Having knowledge of construction projects, preferably qualified as a Bachelor of Engineering and certified project management professional.
- Review, validate and consolidate project monthly dashboards and reports, and raise any issues and concerns.
- Issue project dashboards and reports to concerned internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates interface management and core competencies at a managerial level of development and is an exemplary model of living the corporate values and code of ethics.
- Provides capability and continuous improvement in project controls that are dedicated to the project.
- Working knowledge of current methodologies and tools related to managing projects.
- Able to respond to client/stakeholder requests effectively and sensitively.
- Excellent attention to detail and able to validate and check data and reports, recording and reports produced, providing basic commentary and analysis.
- Delivering on updates from change management.
- Reporting to stakeholders, internal and external.
- Working closely with the client, sub consultants and main contractors.
- Reviewing overall project status with the project management team and recommend corrective action where necessary.
- Risk management reporting through compiled data is provided monthly.
- Demonstrating a clear, systematic approach to solving complex issues and can communicate solutions in an effective, efficient, high-level manner.
- Evaluating and reporting on all scheduling, cost and change controls for this scheme in conjunction with the PMO and projects.
- Carrying out the duties of designated project controls and reporting for the project.
- Exposure to project controls methodologies and delivery.
- Recognising and allocating best practice across your function.
- Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the programme, project or commercial management disciplines.
- Have registered on and are working towards professional qualification (e.g. APM, PMI, IRM, IEMA).
- Looking to the future to create and articulate a delivery vision and common culture.
- Persuading and influencing colleagues.
- Create the environment for successful implementation of processes.
- Very high political sensitivity.
- Creating and delivering and engaging presentations to wide range of audiences in our industry.
- Competent to mentor and coach at appropriate level.
- Ability to contribute to the establishment of a behavioral charter and capability to drive the agreed behavioral values through the project team.
