About the Role:
Were seeking a Remote Prior Authorization Specialist with excellent English (C1/C2) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Process and submit prior authorization requests for medications, procedures, or services
- Communicate with insurance companies to verify coverage and obtain approvals
- Coordinate with providers and patients regarding authorization status
- Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems
- Assist with related administrative tasks
- 12 yrs prior authorization or medical billing experience
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and medical terminology
- Proficient in EHR systems
- Meets strict technical requirements (Windows 10 Pro+, i5 8th Gen+, 8GB RAM, wired 50 Mbps, USB headset, HD webcam, external monitor)
- $5/hr (first 3 months) $6/hr after probation ($800$1,000/mo)
- HMO after 6 months | 100% remote
