Job Description

Could this be the scene for your next career move? We are currently recruiting for Regional Training Lead to join our APAC Operations team.

Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk- liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 45,000 tank containers, STC is the only operator with its own worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots.

What You Will Be Doing

The Regional Training Lead role is responsible for focusing and improving on upskilling employees of his/her area. Prepare, Inspire, and motivate employees to work independently and more efficiently, guiding them through their professional journey with STC ensuring they feel engaged and confident. He/she will be responsible to designing and delivering training programs for business processes, through the creation and delivery of a comprehensive training and development strategy to build knowledge and skills across their area. Participates in (global) improvement projects and drives changes within STC business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the business by creating, designing and delivering training programs and strategies (such as onboarding, packages, Lunch and learn, continuous training, specializations etc.)
  • Provide employees with the knowledge, skills and understanding to operate in the business by using the best training methodology
  • Monitor individual learning progress and performance during onboarding. Communicate with management on a regular basis to ensure training and performance requirements are aligned and meet requirements.
  • Create testing and evaluation processes to measure effectiveness of the training provided. Develop enhancements in close cooperation with BT/Training Specialist
  • Organize workshops to identify and resolve specific issues that are critically impacting business outcomes and require resolutions, e.g., review processes to reduce process time, cutting out waste, improve output quality or adopt new technology.
  • Participate in global process improvement projects.
  • Accountable to support the design, review, produce and deliver e-learning courses, workshop, and classroom training.
  • Support E-learning coordinator with content creation and reviews.
  • Actively participate in BT Meetings, internal communication and Learning system community and be on top of the business changes.
  • Be initiator of launching the best practices and methods for knowledge sharing to maximize benefit for the organization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in education, Business improvements and/or with at least 3 years’ experience.
  • Excellent knowledge English language, Italian/Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, management, and coordination skills, with the ability to organize a workload comprised of varying and changing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Proven presentation, training, and facilitation skills
  • Strong admin skills.
  • Pro-active and have a hands-on mentality.
  • Auto training on new systems, tools, fields of expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships at a distance, with culturally diverse stakeholders and colleagues around the world.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to identify and implement solutions.
  • Some experience or demonstrated interest in innovative platforms
