What You'll Do

As a Recruitment Specialist, you will immerse yourself in every aspect of the hiring process, from identifying potential candidates to guiding them through onboarding. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with hiring managers to understand their unique needs, utilising various sourcing techniques to find exceptional talent, and ensuring each candidate’s journey is positive and efficient. You will be instrumental in building strong relationships across departments while maintaining meticulous records of your activities. By staying up-to-date with industry trends and leveraging your expertise in recruitment software, you will help drive the organisation’s growth by consistently bringing in high-calibre professionals who align with its values.

  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening through to interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding for a variety of roles.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, and other innovative channels to attract top-tier talent.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, providing strategic guidance on talent acquisition best practices.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current vacancies as well as anticipated future openings.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments of candidates to ensure alignment with both job requirements and organisational culture.
  • Coordinate interview schedules efficiently while facilitating clear communication between candidates and internal teams.
  • Negotiate employment offers with successful candidates, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation through effective onboarding processes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment, particularly within insurance, technology, and fintech sectors.
  • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or similar tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field is required for this position.
  • A minimum of three years’ proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes within insurance, technology or fintech industries is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sourcing techniques such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media platforms, and employee referral programmes is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for building rapport with candidates as well as internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities are vital for effective candidate engagement and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or other recruitment software is important for maintaining accurate records and streamlining workflows.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities independently while remaining organised in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
  • Attention to detail ensures accuracy throughout all stages of recruitment from candidate assessment through onboarding.
