Your Role

As a Reconciliation Officer, you will:

  • Prepare profit-share reconciliations for eligible customers
  • Handle inquiries related to modification and termination quote calculations
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting the pricing team and escalate material findings (e.g., third-party funder invoicing disputes, lease overs/unders, rego and CTP provisions)
  • Liaise with IT to resolve system issues, supply business requirements, coordinate testing, and support process automation
  • Streamline quoting processes for major customers with custom pricing agreements (e.g., extension of Flexipoints, agreed interest rates, contract mod analysis)
  • Escalate inefficiencies using the complaints tool and propose risk and control solutions
  • Monitor pricing set-ups and quoting processes for compliance with customer agreements and internal guidelines
  • Oversee monthly pricing reports, budgetary analysis, and sales strategy management through contract modifications
  • Lead clean-up initiatives to correct system errors and coordinate delegation within the pricing team
  • Develop and enhance analytical tools and pricing calculators; update BI reports and sales request templates
  • Perform validations and quote rechecks as needed by other team members
  • Guide process improvement efforts and distribute finalized documentation to relevant teams
  • Maintain the reliability of pricing databases and communicate necessary updates to stakeholders
  • Manage group inboxes and worklists to ensure team KPIs are met
  • Provide backup support and supervise training and pricing projects as required

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, or finance
  • Prior experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, database management, and other MS Office applications
  • Experience in managing and executing projects

Preferred skills/expertise

  • CPA certification
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience or exposure to fleet pricing (preferred but not required)
