Reconciliation Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, e-wallets, and internal ledgers to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and aligned.
• Review all transactions for accuracy and completeness before reconciling accounts at the end of each month.
• Work closely with the finance team to Prepare and submit detailed monthly reconciliation reports to management for review.
  
  
  

Discrepancy Resolution

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or mismatches in bank, wallet, and book records, escalating issues where necessary.
• Liaise with the treasury, finance, customer funds management team to resolve discrepancies and ensure that all necessary adjustments and corrections are made.
  
  
  

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes, improve accuracy, and enhance the efficiency of daily and monthly reconciliation workflows.
• Recommend improvements to reconciliation tools, systems, and procedures to ensure timely and effective financial reporting.
  
  
  

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure that all reconciliation activities comply with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to reconciliation processes for audit and compliance purposes.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with strong operational reconciliations exposure
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP)
