Global R2P UAT Lead

This role will be part of the Global Requisition to Pay Team and reports into Global R2P COE Manager and is based in Manila, Philippines. This role will play a critical role in transforming the Requisition To Pay (R2P) process on global scale.

What will you do -

The Global R2P UAT Lead will take an active role in the global transformation of the Requisition to Pay (R2P) process. This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end UAT process to ensure that the software meets business requirements and is ready for deployment. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing a team of UAT testers, and ensuring that all testing activities are completed on time and with minimal to no issues .

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Strategy
• Develop and implement comprehensive UAT test plans and strategies.
• Define the scope, objectives, and criteria for UAT testing.
• Prepare and maintain the UAT schedule, resource allocation, and budget.
• Team Management
• Lead a team of UAT testers, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and address any issues.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with project managers, business analysts, development teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and project objectives.
• Facilitate communication between UAT testers and other project team members.
• Test Execution
• Oversee the execution of UAT test cases, ensuring that they are carried out accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor test progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure that any defects or issues are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Document all UAT activities, including test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports.
• Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting any risks or issues.
• Ensure that all UAT documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities for improving the UAT process, tools, and techniques.
• Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance the quality and efficiency of UAT testing.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software testing.
• Test Planning and Preparation-
• Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to understand the scope of testing.
• Develop detailed UAT plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and user scenarios.
• Prepare test data required for UAT.
• Test Execution-
• Execute test cases and scripts, manually or using automated tools, to validate the functionality and performance of the software.
• Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not impact existing functionality.
• Collaboration and Communication-
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other QA team members to understand the software functionality and business requirements.
• Communicate test results, defects, and issues to the development team and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in UAT review meetings and provide feedback to improve the testing process.
  
  

Qualifications

• Academic background- University/Bachelor degree qualification in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is essential.
• Required years of related experience- 5+ Years
• Demonstrated proficiency with R2P & Finance/Accounting processes (Requisitioning, PO, Invoicing, General Ledger)
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently present complex information in English.
• Languages - fluent English mandatory
